We recommend shopping for your wedding dress soon after you choose your wedding date. Appointments can fill up several months in advance so make sure to plan ahead.
As the dresses take approximately 5-6 months to come in, ideal ordering time is 8-12 months before the wedding date. It can potentially be done in a shorter time frame dependent on rush order and designer. Our calendar is open up to 3 months in advance. Our Saturday and Sunday appointments book out fast so the more notice you give the higher chance you will have for your preferred day and time.
At the time of ordering we require a 50% deposit. This is a non-refundable deposit. This deposit is required to secure your order. From there it is completely up to you how you pay, whether it is instalments along the way or you leave the final balance until collection. You can also pay upfront and get a 5% discount on price of the dress.
A standard order takes about 5-6 months to come in. We can get a rush order with some designers which can see a dress get here in 3.5 months.
It is generally best to book an appointment as we do get booked out most days. An appointment not only ensures that you have a fitting room but also a bridal consultant is available to you give you our undivided attention and help you find the perfect dress for your special day.
Bridal gown appointments are 1 hour. We find that this is plenty of time to try many styles without getting confused and overwhelmed. If, at the end of your appointment you need longer, we will happily book you another appointment.
We generally try to get through about 5 or 6 in the hour, however we will try on as many as we can in the hour for you.
We try to accommodate for all budgets and have dresses that range from $1600 – $3900 depending on style you have selected.
Our Off-the-rack samples gowns can be much less, discounted around 50% off starting from $200 to $1400.
We do not charge for appointments and you are more than welcome to come back to re-visit dresses.
You’re more than welcome to bring as many or as few people with you as you wish, the assigned fitting areas generally can comfortably seat 3-4 people, so larger groups some may need to stand. We do recommend limiting the number of people you bring to your dearest and nearest as too many opinions can be confusing, so bring your family members or friends whose opinions you value the most.
Yes certainly, we offer double appointments which last two hours so you both have sufficient time to try on enough dresses.
In alterations, you can have straps added to most strapless dresses and we can have extra lace ordered for you. Doing it in alterations means you can get the exact straps you want rather than a stock standard strap they may not suit the dress or your needs.
We don’t do alterations in house but we do have an alterations company that we recommend to all of our brides. They are located just over in Claremont and you receive a 15% discount voucher when going from us to them.
No are gowns are made to order. Our gowns are standard size gowns that are ordered in. When you come to choosing a dress, we will measure you up and compare your sizes to the designer’s size guidelines to order the best size for you. Once the dress comes in you will need alterations for the best possible fit.
As long as it is not sparkle through the lace then yes, we can order most dresses without beaded appliques/motifs included.

Yes certainly, we offer one-month free storage when the dress arrives, after that point we do charge a $100 storage fee per month if you wish to store the dress here.
No, you don’t need to have them yet, you simply need to know roughly the height you plan on wearing. We take your measurements with your max heel height that you know you would wear on the day so when we take the measurements we leave enough at the bottom for you as you can always get hemmed if you go a shorter heel but you can’t glue back on if you go for a higher heel.
No all of our gowns are for sale only. We do not hire any of our gowns.
We do sell discontinued sample gowns from the rack at a heavily reduced price.
The first appointment it is not necessary to wear any specific undergarments. Shoes and undergarments would be required for the fitting with dressmaker if needing alterations.
We do prefer if you didn’t wear too much make-up as this can mark the gowns.
You are welcome to bring pictures of dresses you’ve seen on our website, in magazines that inspire you, or that you’ve tried on elsewhere. And bring an open mind: don’t be surprised if you find “the dress” on your first visit.
Yes, we do allow photos, and we love to see our brides on their special day. Please do share your moments of your special day with us by emailing or Facebook.
Trunk shows are events where we highlight a particular designer’s collection these are great as you can try on a larger selection of dresses from a specific designer which are not normally in store Special gifts and discounts are often offered during our trunk shows. We strongly recommend you book for trunk shows.
We ask that you arrive no more than 5 minutes early as our appointments are schedule back to back. If you happen to arrive earlier there are several coffee shops and restaurants you can visit in the area.
All sales are final. As all dress are made to order there are no cancellations returns or exchanges.
Our gown sizes are available are from a size 2 to 22.
